New Soul Food Cookbook Features Easy to Follow Recipes

JACKSON, TN (October, 2007) Soul Food Lovers’ Cookbook, by Cassandra Harrell is a treasured collection of family recipes from three generations of southern cooks. This one of a kind cookbook collection include 250 favorite recipes passed down from one generation to the next. This easy to read cookbook also includes recipes notes with helpful cooking tips, fun stories, comments for using the recipe, and a piece of family history about the dish.

Soul Food Lovers’ Cookbook is an spin off from Cassandra’s successful website Soul Food Advisor.com, an online resource for soul food enthusiasts offering informative articles and advice on entertaining with soul food.

Cassandra Harrell was raised in Lauderdale County, Halls, Tenn. and attended Dyersburg State College She began tempting palates with her southern influence when she owned an award winning soul food restaurant and catering business for more than 10 years. Cassandra resides in Jackson.

Cassandra is a three time book author who wrote two other books with her husband Earl which received national attention and reviews from Men’s Health Magazine, The Arsenio Hall Show, Industrial Safety and Hygiene News, and the American Library Association.
